Two new SAFE SORRY studies have just launched in Belgium!
The first is part of an international study that will be carried out at the same time as partner countries (Sweden, Greece, and several others). Belgium is one of the first studies to launch the study; others will soon follow. This study aims to better understand similarities and differences across countries in the way parents raise their children. Parents in each country are invited to complete questionnaires on parenting, family life, and related topics.
The second study is the first wave of a longitudinal study that will take place over three years. Each year, the same parents will be invited to complete questionnaires on themes related to parenting, which may vary according to the year. In following these families over time, this study allows us to understand parenting and its evolution in the crucial transition phrase in an adolescent’s life from secondary school to adult age.
