This year’s BAPS conference will be held in Ghent, and the SAFE-SORRY team is once again participating!
On Thursday 21 May, several team members will present posters on their ongoing research. Julie Brandt will present the preliminary results of a mixed-method study on the impact of exposure to online “sharenting” content on parents’ opinions regarding parenthood (conducted in collaboration with Martina Cutaia).Amina Malsagova, Cléophée Caillet, and Monia Wittebols will present the preliminary results of the quantitative study on the impact of AI development and job insecurity on young people’s anxiety symptoms, while Océane Pichot and Martina Pienabarca will present the preliminary results of an observational study on the influence of parental control and autonomy support on parent-adolescent interactions and reciprocity. Enora Hauptmann will present the preliminary results of a quantitative study on the impact of parental school involvement on the professional well-being of teachers (conducted in collaboration with Annalisa Soncini, Ediz Yilmaz, and Nawal Ouehhabi). Finally, Martina Cutaia will present the results of a quantitative study on the impact of exposure to sharenting content on parental burnout.
On Friday 22 May, Annalisa Soncini will present the results of a multi-informant qualitative study on how parents, teachers, and school directors perceive parental school involvement, in an oral presentation.
