On January 16, 2026, Gaëlle Venard defended her thesis entitled: “Understanding (co-)parenting in adolescence in light of contemporary gender and parenting norms.”.

In her thesis, Gaëlle examines, through a mixed-methods approach, the norms of intensive parenting, co-parenting, and gender relations. This research offers a more nuanced and refined understanding of (co-)parenting practices in adolescence and invites a reconsideration of parenting support policies from a more egalitarian perspective, tailored to the real needs of families.
