With a diverse team of researchers, we aim to better comprehend how the societal, cultural, economic and historical context shapes the way parents educate their children. You may have heard about it in the news over the past few days: “More and more teenagers are sharing their location online with their parents. According to a study by Ghent University, 2 out of 3 teenagers do so. While this practice reassures parents, teenagers themselves are also generally in favor of it, seeing it as a way to gain more freedom.”
Stijn Van Petegem was interviewed on the evening news to discuss the geolocation of teenagers.
