A new scientific article has been published! This study was led by Gaëlle Venard, and is the fruit of a collaboration between ULB and Université de Lausanne (Switzerland). The study and examined how parents of teenagers make sense of their parenting in light of contemporary norms and the meanings they attribute to their co-parenting coordination.
In this study, twelve individual interviews were conducted with Swiss parents of adolescents. The results identified three themes: “adherence to societal expectations regarding parental roles”, “the evolution of the parent-adolescent relationship”, and “parental roles in relation to gender” .”
