Elliana will be at the European Association of Social Psychology (EASP) 2026 General Meeting in Strasbourg. On Friday, July 3, during the session Gender Stereotypes and Beliefs (11:50 – 1:10), she will present results from the cross-cultural study of the SAFESORRY project, including data from almost 6000 parents across the 11 participating countries. She will discuss the role of parents’ gender beliefs in shaping their parenting practices and unpack the role of broader gender inequalities and norms and how they impact parenthood.

Annalisa will also participate in the General Meeting of EASP in Strasbourg. She will join a symposium on competition in education, a topic she worked on during her PhD, alongside several international colleagues in social psychology. She will present the results of a qualitative study exploring teachers’ perceptions of how normative grading could colour the role of mistakes in the learning process, from learning opportunities to a sign of failure.

Looking forward to seeing you all here!
